Each portrait takes about up to 10–13 minutes per person in my style, depending on the complexity of the outfit and details. The timing is calculated per individual guest rather than per sketch, so whether it’s a solo portrait or a group illustration of 2–5 people together, each person included adds around 10–13 minutes to complete.

As guests arrive, I take a quick reference photo — no posing needed. While they enjoy the event, I create hand-painted fashion portraits behind the scenes (about 7–10 min per person). Guests don’t need to wait in line, and finished portraits can be picked up during the event or collected from a display table at the end.

Guests can collect their portraits toward the end of the wedding, or I can personally hand them out after finishing my work. Illustrations are presented in standard craft envelopes so guests can easily take them home, it`s already included in the price. It all depends on the number of guests at your wedding or event. The minimum booking is 4 hours, but for weddings, 6–8 hours is ideal — this allows me to illustrate as many guests as possible in my style.

Travel fees vary depending on the location. For weddings in Calgary,it`s free of charge. For events in other cities, provinces, or countries, travel arrangements and accommodation need to be discussed separately.

If the number of guests who want portraits exceeds the booked hours, I can complete the remaining illustrations at home. The rate for additional portraits is $10 per illustration.

Fill out the form on my website and share all your wishes — I’ll get in touch shortly to confirm the details. To secure your date, a non-refundable deposit of 30% and a signed contract are required. Please note: bookings are not considered confirmed without a deposit.

To give as many guests as possible the chance to receive a sketch during the event, I can also arrange for an additional artist to join on-site. This allows us to accommodate a higher number of guests within the event timeframe. The additional cost would depend on artist availability and the duration of coverage required.

My sketches are already created in a refined minimal fashion style that balances speed with a polished and flattering result. Reducing the level of detail further would unfortunately make the artwork appear less professional, which is something I never want to compromise on. I always prioritize quality and the guest experience over quantity, so I usually offer my clients an alternative solution instead. Any remaining guests can be illustrated after the event in my studio at a lower rate, while maintaining the same quality and attention to detail as the live sketches. This also allows me to deliver the artwork within a very short turnaround time, so guests still receive their portraits while the excitement from the event is fresh.
